High School: Melanie graduated from McKinney North in 2007 where she earned a letter in gymnastics under coach Whitney Williams. She was District Champion on the beam and the first gymnast from her school to make it to Regionals.

 

Club: Melanie was a member of Eagle’s Wings Athletics for four years under coach Allan Kirby. She earned high scores of: All-Around: 36.75, Vault: 9.65, Bars: 9.1, Beam: 9.3, Floor: 9.6

 

Personal: Born November 29, 1988 in Phoenix, Arizona, Melanie is the daughter of Mark and Melissa Hatcher. She has one sister and is an undeclared major.
