Bio

2005: Kristina led the Ladies with the top average scores in every event (vault: 9.575, bars: 9.652, beam: 9.582, floor: 9.818, and all-around: 38.645). She finished third in the all-around at the USAG Nationals to earn All-American honors in that event as well as on the bars. She attended the NCAA Regional for the second consecutive year and placed 19th in the all-around. Her RQS of 38.950 in the all-around and 9.885 on the floor was the best in the USAG division while her score of 9.765 on the bars was good enough for second in the ranks. She broke her own school record with an all-around score of 39.325 against Southern Utah and posted season high scores of 9.950 on both the bars and the floor. In addition, she was named the Midwest Independent Conference Gymnast of the Week for the week of March 1st.  

2004: Kristina was the Ladies top all-arounder in her freshman season with an average score of 38.730. She was the USAG National Champion in the all-around and was also an All-American on the uneven bars. She became the first Centenary gymnast to ever attend an NCAA Regional when she qualified as an individual on the uneven bars. Kristina set two school records with a 39.275 in the all-around and a 9.950 on the bars.

Prep: Kristina was the 2000 and 2001 Texas state bar champion while at Pearland High School and currently holds the state bar record. She helped the Oilers claim the 2001 Texas state team championship and was selected to the 2003 Texas High School National Team. Kristina was also awarded All-State and All-District honors all four years in high school. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Who’s Who Among American High School Students.

Personal: Kristina was born on May 3, 1985 in Houston, Texas. She has two younger sisters and is the daughter of Dave and Kelly Menne. Kristina is an exercise science major and plans to become a physical therapist. Her full name is Kristina Jo Menne.
