Hey Ladies’ fans, it’s freshman Kendall Huff back with you for this week’s gym talk! The Ladies have had a whole week of practice and no school, due to Mardi Gras break. The break let our bodies (and our brains!) recuperate from the super busy weeks before. Some of us even got to have some fun and go to part of a Mardi Gras parade! For a few of us, it was our first time to experience one!
Hey Ladies Fans! This is sophomore K2/Knaps with this week’s gym talk! The Ladies had yet another eventful double meet weekend, but this time around, it was in beautiful St. Louis, Missouri. We have two Missouri Natives on our team (Lauryn Stiff and Madison McCary) and it was nice to get to spend some time in their home state to do some gymnastics ....

Hey Centenary gymnastics fans! Freshman Kennedy Stephens here with my first Gym Talk. This week everyone made goals on each event we are hoping to achieve before Thanksgiving break begins. We have all been working hard to cross them off before we go back home. Shout out to Rose for crossing off her goal of a lay out on vault onto a higher landing surface, Kendall Knaps for her double pike off bars, Xian for getting her new beam dismount, and Kendall Huff for getting her blind full and her double pike on floor!

Hey Ladies Fans! This is Sophomore Kendall Sanders with this week’s gym talk! This week has been full of fun and excitement. The Ladies had a great track workout where we focused on our vault sprints and building up the endurance with some stadiums (everyone’s favorite!!) After open gym on Friday the Ladies attended the women’s soccer game where our very own Kendall Knaps and Rose Deshler sang the National Anthem together and sounded AMAZING! There was also a tailgate where our famous Chief Eddie Walker and other DPS officers grilled for everyone.
