SHREVEPORT-Centenary College and the athletic department would like to extend the invitation to join the forces in promoting Autism Awareness during the Gents basketball game on Saturday afternoon beginning at approximately 4:30 pm against Southern Utah in the Gold Dome.
"We are excited to work with several members of the Centenary family in promoting awareness for children with Autism. This type of event enables us as a small college to showcase our commitment to the local community, in which continues to support us," said head men's basketball coach Adam Walsh.
Autism Awareness booths will be set up in the upper level of the Gold Dome and any interested fan wanting a picture with Skeeter, Centenary's mascot, or to meet the Gents can take part in that event at 3:30 pm.
