The Centenary men's golf team finished fifth in the Tempest Intercollegiate on Tuesday at the Tempest Golf Club in Gladewater, Texas, hosted by LeTourneau University. The Gents shot rounds of 314-306-323 for a two-day total of 943. Senior Brodey Warner (Brookeland, Texas) was the Gents’ top finisher as he placed third overall after shooting a final-round 76. The Centenary men's golf team claimed the team title Tuesday at the Louisiana College Fall Invitational at Links on the Bayou Golf Course as the Gents won their first tournament of the season. Centenary, playing in just its second event of the season, finished a comfortable 18 shots ahead of second place Mississippi University for Women. The Gents posted a 20-over par 596 for the two-day event.
