The Gents finished their 2025 season at 7-9-2 overall and 5-6 in SCAC play and were in contention for a conference tournament berth on the last day of the regular season. Centenary needed a victory over the University of St. Thomas in Houston but fell 4-2. Despite the disappointment on the final day of the season, the 2025 campaign was a success in many ways.
Centenary's seven wins are tied for third-most in a single season in the division III era (2011-present) in program history and the Gents' five conference wins are the most in a single season since joining the SCAC prior to the 2012 season.
The Gents finished the season as one of the conference's top offensive teams, as they entered the match second in goals (35) and points (91) and tied for fourth in assists (21). Centenary was also second in the conference in goals per game (2.06) and tied for 85th nationally in goals scored and tied for 104th in points.
The Gents' 37 goals are the most in a season in the D3 era, their 21 assists are the third-most, and 95 points rank second. Their 199 shots and 99 shots on goal also rank in the top 10.
The 2026 SCAC Tournament will be held Nov. 5-8 in Round Rock, Texas.
