Prior to Centenary: Swam for head coach Jessica Altenburg at New Iberia Senior High School ... In 2017, swam in both the 13 and over state meet and the Louisiana State long course meet, finishing 15th in the 200 breaststroke and 16th in the 100 breaststroke ... For the Yellow Jackets, made the 2017 5A All-District Swim Team after receiving qualifying times in both the 100 breaststroke and 200 IM for the LHSAA Division I State Meet ... Centenary Swimming Teams Fourth After Day One Of SCAC Championships

The Centenary swimming team completed action on day one of the 2020 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at the Josh Davis Natatorium. The Ladies and Gents each sit in fourth place overall after the first day of competition while host Trinity sits atop both the men’s and women’s standings after day one. The Ladies collected 80 total points while the Gents earned 74.

Swimming Team Splits With Austin College On Senior Day

The Centenary men's and women's swimming team celebrated "Senior Day" on Saturday as the Maroon and White faced Austin College at the Centenary Fitness Center. The Ladies defeated the ‘Roos, 94-82, while the Gents fell, 122-72. Three seniors (Ellen Atkinson, Jessi Jordan, and Eddie Dyess) were honored in Centenary's final home meet of the season.

Swimming Teams Sweep Millsaps At Home

The Centenary men's and women's swimming team completed a sweep over Millsaps on Friday in a dual meet held at the Centenary Fitness Center.  The Gents recorded a 74-60 victory while the Ladies won, 87-62. Centenary won 14 of 20 events in the meet, eight by the women and six by the men. Centenary finished first and second place in four different events. Centenary and Millsaps met for the second time this season after the Maroon and White opened its 2019-20 season last month with a sweep of the Majors in a dual meet on the road last month.

The Centenary men's and women's swimming team will welcome Millsaps to town on Friday, Nov. 8 for a dual meet set for 4 p.m. at the Centenary Fitness Center.  The Ladies placed fourth last weekend at the Hendrix Relays/Hendrix Classic in Conway, Ark. while the men finished sixth.  Millsaps and Centenary are meeting for the second time this season as the Maroon and White opened its 2019-20 season last month with a sweep of the Majors in a dual meet on the road. The women won, 94-70 and the men won by a count of 61-47.

Men's Swimming Places Sixth In 52nd Annual Hendrix College Classic

The Centenary men’s and women’s swimming teams finished sixth and fourth respectively in the 52nd Annual Hendrix College Classic last Saturday at the Bob Courtway Pool. Centenary opened its 2019-20 season last month with a sweep of Millsaps in a dual meet on the road. The women won, 94-70 and the men won by a count of 61-47.
