2023 Junior Season: Named First-Team All-SCAC for the third season in a row and also named to the SCAC Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll, named an Easton/NFCA Division III All-America Scholar Athlete and named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Softball Team … Played 37 games and hit .344 (third on team) and posted a .396 on-base percentage (fourth on team) and slugged .472 (fourth on team) … She scored a team-high 34 runs and ranked seventh in the conference and had a conference-best six triples along with four doubles … Her 43 hits were second-most on the team and she earned 10 walks against just 14 strikeouts in 125 at-bats … Finished fourth in the conference in stolen bases (27) and tied for 40th nationally and was only caught three times all season … Recorded 12 multi-hit games including five three-hit performances … Had a team-high 59 total bases and finished with two sacrifice flies and two sacrifice hits ... Posted a season-best five-game hitting streak from Feb. 21-March 12 ... Had three four-game hitting streaks ... Stole at least two bases in a game five times highlighted by a season-high four versus Austin College on April 16.
2022 Sophomore Season: Turned in another superb season for the Ladies as she was named First-Team All-SCAC and also earned a spot on the 2022 SCAC All-Tournament Team … She made the 2022 All-Louisiana Softball team, earning Honorable-Mention honors from the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) as she became the first player to make the All-Louisiana team since 2018 … Cox was one of only five players from a non-division 1 school to make the team … She led the team in batting average, hits, OBP, and runs scored and the speedy Cox became the program leader in stolen bases in a season and in a career in the division III era (2012-present) as she stole 35 bases in 37 attempts … She finished ranked in the top 15 in the country in division III and now has an impressive 56 in 62 career attempts … Cox only struck out 15 times in 119 at-bats while walking nearly as many times (12) and ranked in the top 10 in the SCAC in eight different statistical categories … She finished with a .420 batting average, .477 OBP and slugged .496 … Cox totaled 50 hits, 37 runs scored, 12 RBI, five doubles, two triples … She finished with a .960 fielding percentage and posted 17 multi-hit games … Finished as the team leader in batting average, OBP, hits, and runs and was second in triples … Drew two or more walks in game three times, scored two or more runs eight times, three or more four times and scored a season-high four against Hendrix on Feb. 20 … Drove in two or more runs three times and knocked in a season-high three against Westminster on Feb. 20 … Stole two or more bases in a game eight times and stole a season-best three twice – March 13 at Austin College and on March 26 versus Dallas ... Named to the SCAC Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll and the Spring 2022 Dean's List.
2021 Freshman Season: Turned in one of the best rookie seasons in the division III era (2012-present) as she was named First Team All-SCAC and ranked in the top 10 in the conference in eight individual statistical categories ... Hit a team-high .373 which was the 10th-best average in the conference and played in 36 games ... Ranked first on the team and sixth in the league in OBP (.444) and slugged .466 (second on team) ... Her 118 at-bats led team and were fifth in the league ... Was also seventh in total plate appearances ... Collected a team-high 44 hits (tied for sixth in SCAC) and scored a team-high 24 runs ... Had seven extra-base hits (four triples and three doubles) ... Her four triples were tied for most in the conference ... Drove in eight runs and walked 13 times (tied for eighth in league) while only striking out 16 times ... Led team and ranked third in the SCAC with 21 stolen bases and was only caught four times ... Cox had 11 multi-hit games during the season which included a single-game, season-best four hits against Schreiner on April 24 ... Cox went 7-8 at the plate in a doubleheader that day against the Mountaineers with two doubles, two runs scored, and five stolen bases ...She went 5-15 in the SCAC Championship with an RBI, a triple, two walks, and five runs scored ... Named to the SCAC 2020-21 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll.
