2019-20 Junior Season: Was the Ladies’ offensive leader in her junior season as she averaged a team-high 12.1 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game (second on team) in 23 games with 16 starts … Named to the All-SCAC Third Team for the second-straight season as she ranked in the top 10 in the SCAC in points, rebounds, field goal percentage, and offensive rebounds … Capped off her great individual season with 21 points and 12 rebounds in 23 minutes on Feb. 22 in the Ladies' dominant 22-point home victory over Dallas in their regular-season finale … Posted five double-doubles this season … Was at her best in SCAC play as she averaged 13.8 points per game over 18 conference contests and averaged 7.1 rebounds per game … Led the team with a 53.1 field goal percentage … Scored a season-high 26 points in 26 minutes on 11-15 shooting from the floor in the Ladies’ 61-57 victory over Southwestern at home on Jan. 10 … Grabbed a season-best 12 rebounds twice during the season, in the final two games at home versus Austin (Feb. 21) and Dallas (Feb. 22) … Had three other double-digit rebounding performances (10 rebounds on Dec. 14/Dec.29, and Dec. 30) … Scored in double digits 15 times … Topped the 20-point mark four times … Reached double digits in 11 consecutive games from Dec. 14-Jan. 31 … Twice named the LSWA Women's Basketball Player of the Week by the Louisiana Sportswriters Association during the season.
2018-2019 Sophomore Season: Named Third-Team All-SCAC and recorded the best single season field goal percentage (.614) in program history and finished top-10 in the nation ... Played in 21 games and made two starts ... Averaged 20.9 minutes per game and averaged 11.7 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game.
2017-18 Freshman Season: Played in 17 games with three starts… Named Honorable Mention All-Conference by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference… Scored 7.8 points per game and added 5.2 rebounds per game… Led the team with a 49.6 field goal percentage… Recorded a pair of double-doubles, both matching a season high with 13 rebounds. Added 13 points to complete the double-double against Trinity in a 64-55 loss January 26, 2018… Added a season high 15 points to complete the double-double against Austin College in a Ladies 63-50 loss December 30, 2017… Named to the All-Sportsmanship Team for the SCAC.
Prior to Centenary: Played both in the post and at center for head coach Meoka Young at Evangel Christian Academy... With the Eagles, was a two-time Second Team All-District honoree... Also was named an All-State honoree while also being named to the 2017 All-Star game... Academically, was named to the Honor Roll, won Excellence Awards, was named to the Councilor’s List, and served as student chaplain.

Centenary’s Bre Frierson was named to the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Third Team as the complete 2019-20 Women’s Basketball Team was released on Saturday. Frierson, a junior forward from Shreveport and former Evangel star, was named All-SCAC Third Team for the second-straight season after earned Honorable Mention honors as a freshman.

The Centenary women’s basketball team earned its first victory of the 2019-20 season on Friday as the Ladies earned a well-deserved 61-57 victory over the Southwestern Pirates in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play at the Gold Dome. The Ladies (1-13, 1-6 SCAC) won for the first time since a 63-44 home win over Johnson and Wales on Feb. 9, 2019. Seven of Centenary's losses this season have been by 11 points or less with five single-digit losses, and finally the Maroon and White were able to break through and win a close game.

Frierson, a junior forward from Shreveport, and Bonner, a senior guard from Vossburg, Miss., were selected by panel of voters from the list of nominees and recognized for their outstanding performances from games played Dec. 30, 2019 to Jan. 5, 2020 selected by panel of voters from the list of nominees.
