2019-20 Freshman Season: Made an immediate impact in her rookie season with the Ladies as she started all 25 games and averaged 7.3 points per game, which ranked second on the team … She averaged 4.5 rebounds per game (fourth on team) and averaged 24.3 minutes played per game, which was third-most on the team … One of just two players, along with teammate Jennae Mayberry, to start all 25 of the Ladies’ games during the season … Shot 51.6 % from the field for the season (second-highest on team) and had seven double-digit scoring performances … Scored 10 points in 29 minutes in her collegiate debut on Nov. 10 versus Hendrix … Reached double-digits four times in a six-game stretch from Nov. 23 to Dec. 21 … Scored a season-high 26 points at Texas Lutheran on Feb. 8 as she made 7 of 13 shots from the floor, 6-9 from three-point range, and was 6-7 from the free-throw line in 28 minutes … Had a pair of double-digit rebounding performances, grabbing 10 rebounds versus Johnson & Wales on Dec. 30 and a season-best 12 at Southwestern on Feb. 7.

The Centenary women's basketball team lost another tough game on Friday as the Ladies dropped a 68-62 decision to the Schreiner Mountaineers in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play at the Stephens Family Arena. The Ladies (0-12, 0-5 SCAC) were coming off of a heartbreaking 58-54 loss to Johnson and Wales on Monday at home. Seven of Centenary's losses have been by 11 points or less with five single-digit losses, displaying how hard the Ladies have fought this season.

Women's Basketball Loses Tough SCAC Contest At Dallas, 59-54

The Centenary women's basketball team lost a tough road contest, 59-54, in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play to the University of Dallas Crusaders on Saturday at the Maher Center. Centenary will be off a week for the Christmas break and then returns home to face Colorado College (Dec. 29) and Johnson and Wales (Dec. 30) in SCAC play.

The Centenary women’s basketball team dropped a 61-50 decision on Saturday to the Mississippi University for Women Owls in a non-conference game at the Gold Dome. The Ladies (0-7) fell behind 37-25 at halftime but cut the lead to single digits late in the third quarter before the Owls held on for the victory. Junior forward Bre Frierson (Shreveport) led the Ladies with 16 points and 10 rebounds with teammate Destini Powell (Minden, La.) joining her in double figures with 11 points.

The Centenary women's basketball team fell by a score of 81-48 to the LeTourneau YellowJackets on Saturday in a non-conference game at Solheim Arena.  The Ladies dropped to 0-6 while LeTourneau improved to 2-4. Centenary was down 45-24 and could not recover, but did outscore the YellowJackets, 16-14 in the fourth quarter.  Freshman guard Destini Powell (Minden, La.) led the way for the Ladies on Saturday with 12 points in 27 minutes.

The Centenary women’s basketball team will face the Grambling Lady Tigers in a non-conference exhibition game set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center. The Ladies (0-1) opened their regular season on Sunday with a 64-57 loss to Hendrix at home. The Lady Tigers enter Wednesday’s contest at 0-3 overall and fell on the road, 89-42, to Georgia Tech on Sunday.
