Women's Basketball Releases 2026-27 Season Schedule

Shreveport – The Centenary women's basketball program has announced its 2026-27 season schedule as the Ladies are set to play 24 regular-season games under the leadership of second-year head coach Rennie Bailey.

The Ladies will begin their regular season on Monday, Nov. 9 against Jarvis Christian College at home in a non-conference contest set for 6:30 PM inside the Gold Dome. The Ladies finished 3-22 overall and 2-14 in conference play under Bailey last season.

Centenary will play its first four games of the season at home as the season opener is followed by non-conference contests against East Texas Baptist University (Nov. 14), Mississippi University for Women (Nov. 19), and Dallas Christian College (Nov. 23).

The Ladies' month of December features road games at Jarvis Christian (Dec. 2) and ETBU (Dec. 7), and the beginning of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play on Dec. 11 at home against LeTourneau University (5:30 PM). Centenary's first league game on the road is set for Friday, Dec. 18 against the University of St. Thomas at 5:30 PM in Houston.

The Ladies are scheduled to play 13 home games, 11 road games, and 18 conference contests – nine on the road and nine at home. Centenary's final home game will be on Saturday, Feb. 6 against Austin College at 4 PM and the Ladies will finish the regular season on the road with three straight league contests - at University of the Ozarks (Feb. 12 – 5:30 PM), Hendrix College (Feb. 13 – 4 PM), and LeTourneau University (Feb. 19 – 5:30 PM). Centenary will face Colorado College on the road on Dec. 20 and then play 10 SCAC games in the month of January – six at home on four on the road.

The 2027 SCAC Tournament will be hosted by Centenary and held at Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City from Feb. 26-28.
