2018-19 Junior Season: Earned three top-four finishes in the opening meet of the season on Oct. 20 at home versus Coloroado College and Hendrix as she placed third in the 1000 yard Free (12:02.48) and finished fourth in both the 100 yard Breaststroke (1:14.56) and 200 Yard IM (2:28.04) ... Captured a runner-up finish in the 200 Yard Breaststroke (2:37.41) in the Hendrix Classic on Nov. 3 ... Earned three top-three finishes including a pair of runner-ups against Southwestern at home on Nov. 10 as she swam the 50 Yard Breaststroke in a time of 34:36 to place second, the 200 Yard IM in a time of 2:25.33 (second), and placed third in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:14.52 ... Named to the 2019 SCAC Winter Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll. 

2017-18 Sophomore Season: Swam the fifth fastest time in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.96) and fourth fastest time in the 200 breaststroke (2:30.44) at the SCAC Championships… Named to the SCAC Scholar’s List and the SCAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

Swimming Teams Earn Top-5 Finishes At SCAC Championships

The Centenary swimming teams finished competition at the 2020 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday at the Josh Davis Natatorium. The Ladies placed fourth overall with a final points total of 407 while the Gents finished fifth with 305 points at the four-day event. Trinity University swept the team titles, winning on both the men’s and women’s side with 1,050 and 945 points respectively.

Swimming Hosts Annual Senior Day On Saturday

The Centenary men's and women's swimming team will celebrate “Senior Day” on Saturday as the Maroon and White welcome Austin College to town for a 1 p.m. meet at the Centenary Fitness Center. Three seniors (Ellen Atkinson, Jessi Jordan, and Eddie Dyess) will be honored in Centenary’s final home meet of the season. Atkinson (Katy, Texas) and Jessi Jordan (Dallas, Texas) are the two Ladies’ seniors. Atkinson swims the Backstroke and Freestyle while Jordan competes in the Breaststroke and IM. Dyess, a native of Vidor, Texas, competes in the Breaststroke and Freestyle and is the lone Gent senior this season.

Swimming Teams Place In Top Five At Austin College Invite

The Centenary men's and women's swimming team returned to action on Saturday for the first time in the New Year as the Gents finished fourth and the Ladies third in the Austin College Invite at the Hannah Natatorium. The Ladies finished with a final team score of 327 while the Gents earned a 233 mark.

Women's Swimming Places Third In Hendrix Invitational

The Centenary men's and women's swimming team completed action in the fourth-annual Hendrix Invite on Saturday at the Bob Courtway Pool at Hendrix University as the women finished third and the men placed fourth. The women tallied 521 total points and the men collected 273 points.

Swimming Team To Face Millsaps In Home Dual Meet

The Centenary men's and women's swimming team will welcome Millsaps to town on Friday, Nov. 8 for a dual meet set for 4 p.m. at the Centenary Fitness Center.  The Ladies placed fourth last weekend at the Hendrix Relays/Hendrix Classic in Conway, Ark. while the men finished sixth.  Millsaps and Centenary are meeting for the second time this season as the Maroon and White opened its 2019-20 season last month with a sweep of the Majors in a dual meet on the road. The women won, 94-70 and the men won by a count of 61-47.
