2019-20 Sophomore Season: Named the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week on Dec. 11 after leading the Ladies to a third-place finish at the Hendrix Invite as she placed first in the 100 fly, beating her personal best time by two seconds for a finishing time of 58.29 ... She then finished first in the 200 fly as she recorded a time of 2:14.29 to set another personal best time by four seconds ... She also finished third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.59 ... Serret helped lead the Ladies to second-place finishes in the 400 medley and the 400 free relay ... Won the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 2:16.05 and also won the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 1:04.10 in a home meet versus Austin College on Jan. 18 ... Had a pair of third-place finishes in the 200 fly (2:18.76) and the 200 back (2:15.07) in the Hendrix College Classic on Nov. 2 ... She put an exclamation point on her fine season at the SCAC Championships in February as she earned all-conference honors with a runner-up finish and two more top-five finishes ... She nearly claimed the Women's 100 Yard Butterfly title as she finished second in the finals with a time of 57.08, finished fourth in the finals of the 200 Yard Butterfly, swimming a time of 2:14.75 and also had a third-place finish in the finals of the Women's 100 Yard Backstroke as she swam a time of 59.16 ... Placed third in the finals of the 200 Yard IM, swimming in a time of 2:24.20 ... Finished second in the 200 Yard Backstroke in a time of 2:14.64 on Nov. 3 at the Hendrix Classic ... Won the 100 Yard Backstroke (1:02.97) versus Southwestern on Nov. 10 and also earned a runner-up finish in the 100 Yard Fly, swimming in a time of 1:01.77 ... Earned four top-three finishes on Dec. 1 in the Hendrix Invite as she placed third in the 200 Yard IM, 100 Yard Fly, and 200 yard Fly, and second in the 100 yard Backstroke ... The Centenary swimming teams finished competition at the 2020 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday at the Josh Davis Natatorium. The Ladies placed fourth overall with a final points total of 407 while the Gents finished fifth with 305 points at the four-day event. She placed first in the 100 fly, beating her personal best time by two seconds for a finishing time of 58.29. The Centenary men's and women's swimming team completed action in the fourth-annual Hendrix Invite on Saturday at the Bob Courtway Pool at Hendrix University as the women finished third and the men placed fourth. The women tallied 521 total points and the men collected 273 points.
The Centenary men's and women's swimming team completed a sweep over Millsaps on Friday in a dual meet held at the Centenary Fitness Center. The Gents recorded a 74-60 victory while the Ladies won, 87-62. Centenary won 14 of 20 events in the meet, eight by the women and six by the men. Centenary finished first and second place in four different events. Centenary and Millsaps met for the second time this season after the Maroon and White opened its 2019-20 season last month with a sweep of the Majors in a dual meet on the road last month.
