Linzy Woods Named Assistant Coach For Volleyball Program
Linzy Woods has been named an assistant coach for the Centenary volleyball program, head coach Kayla Black and Director of Athletics and Recreation David Orr announced on Tuesday.
Shreveport – Linzy Woods has been named an assistant coach for the Centenary volleyball program, head coach Kayla Black and Director of Athletics and Recreation David Orr announced on Tuesday.
Woods, a native of Houston, played at Grambling State University from 2017-21 as a Middle Blocker/Outside Hitter. Woods played in 97 matches and 280 sets and tallied 318 kills and 114 digs in her career.
"I believe coach Linzy and I will accomplish great things here at Centenary," said Black. "This is just the beginning of a new dawn and era!"

"Coach Woods brings a plethora of knowledge about the sport gathered from her time at both College Park High School and Grambling State University and she has a yearning passion to help young women succeed at the collegiate level.
