53 Centenary Student-Athletes Named to 2020 SCAC Spring Sports Academic Honor Roll

The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2020 spring term and 860 student-athletes made the list. LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2020 spring term and 860 student-athletes made the list.

Since its inception in the fall of 1997, over 29,000 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom.

The 860 spring honorees are the most for the conference since the league started listing a separate winter and spring honor roll prior to the 2015-16 academic year, and the most for any spring since 2011-12 when the league was a 12-member entity.

To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.

A total of 53 Centenary student-athletes are on the team representing baseball, men's and women's golf, lacrosse, softball, and men's and women's tennis
