2020-21 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Announced
Centenary athletics is proud to announce its 2020-21 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. The five members of the SAAC are: Sami Borchalli (men’s soccer), Alyssa Davis (volleyball), Rachel Demerjian (volleyball), Cole Mrozek (men’s soccer), and Sierra Ponder (gymnastics).
Shreveport – Centenary athletics is proud to announce its 2020-21 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
The five members of the SAAC are: Sami Borchalli (men's soccer), Alyssa Davis (volleyball), Rachel Demerjian (volleyball), Cole Mrozek (men's soccer), and Sierra Ponder (gymnastics). Borchalli is serving as president, Mrozek, Davis, and Demerjian are co-Vice Presidents, and Ponder is secretary.
The purpose of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is to provide all Centenary student-athletes with an opportunity to present their perspective to the leadership of the school. The SAAC also provides for a student-athlete response to proposed NCAA or Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference legislation and communication and networking to represent the interests of all Centenary student-athletes.
"As president of SAAC, I want to represent my peers as best as possible, ensuring that the needs of Centenary's student athletes are heard by our athletic department, and that we can continue to have a great relationship with professors and administrators on campus," said Borchalli.
