Centenary Athletics: Weekly Recap for Oct. 25-31

Men's and women's soccer finished their seasons as did volleyball, and men's and women's swimming hosted their first home meet in nearly two years. The men's soccer team went undefeated in its final week of play, women's soccer was in contention for a conference tournament berth up until the final day of the regular season, and the swimming teams had several outstanding individual performances versus McMurry.
Ladies volleyball honored an outstanding senior class last Wednesday in their home finale versus Dallas Christian as the Maroon and White finished 9-2 at home this season with an impressive eight sweeps. In all, Centenary went 6-5 last week. The success continued on Monday when senior Gabby McDonald of Ladies soccer was named the SCAC Offensive Player of the Week following her two-goal performance in Friday's 2-1 overtime win at Austin College.
