Baseball To Face Millsaps In Home Opener On Tuesday
The Centenary baseball team will face Millsaps College in its home opener on Tuesday with first pitch set for 4 PM at Shehee Stadium.

The Diamond Gents (2-5) and Majors (3-3) have met five times over the past seven seasons with the Maroon and White winning three of those. Millsaps won last season's meeting 5-2 in Shreveport.
Tuesday's game is the first of 16 home games for the Diamond Gents and the only non-conference game as the remaining 15 are Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contests.
Centenary was swept in its conference-opening series over the weekend to Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas as the Diamond Gents fell 16-6 in eight innings on Sunday in the series finale after they were swept in a doubleheader on Friday by the Mountaineers, 4-1 in game one and 6-3 in game two.
