2020 Junior Season: Saw action in all 10 of the Ladies’ meets during the season competing on the bars, floor, and vault … High scores for the season include 9.525 on vault, 9.65 on bars, 9.675 on floor... named a Midwest Independent Conference scholar-athlete. Named a WCGA Academic All-American for 2019-2020.

2019 Sophomore Season: On Jan. 19 versus Eau Claire, she placed ninth on vault (9.250) and tied for seventh on bars (9.050) … She tied for sixth on bars (9.650) versus TWU on Feb. 1.

2018 Freshman Season: Competed in 12 meets on the season, appearing on all four events at least once… Received season highs of 9.500 on vault at the Texas Woman’s Quad February 25, a 9.275 on bars twice, an 8.750 on beam at Kent State January 14, and a 9.675 on floor at Southeast Missouri State March 9… Received Scholastic All-America honors from the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association and Academic All-Conference honors from the Midwest Independent Conference.

Prior to Centenary: Competed for Taylor Gymnastics club, owned by Lisa Arrowood and coached by Mike Romano... Besides winning the Gasprilla Invite in 2017, qualified for USA Gymnastics Regionals and AAU Nationals in both 2016 and 2017... Won 2017 AAU National Championships on bars, beam, and in the all-around, also winning on floor at the Florida State Championships... Placed first in Level 10 at AAU Nationals on vault, bars, and beam, winning the AAU State Championship in the all-around.

Academic accomplishments at Aucilla include being a member of the Beta Club, an Ambassador, and a four-year Honor Roll honoree... Was President of her senior class, a Student Council representative, and graduated with Honors and Beta.

The Midwest Independent Conference continued the announcement of its postseason awards and honors on Tuesday as the league’s Scholar-Athlete Team was released. Twelve Ladies gymnasts made the team meaning each earned a 3.25 grade point average or higher during the fall 2019 semester.

The Centenary gymnastics team posted its best score of the season, an impressive 191.875, on Sunday in its annual “Senior Day” meet versus the Southeast Missouri State University Redhawks at the Gold Dome. Two seniors, Cami Bea Austin (Memphis, Tenn.) and Dorothy Mims (Huntsville, Ala.) were honored on Sunday at the end of the meet.

The Centenary gymnastics team fell in its home opener on Saturday to the Texas Woman’s University Pioneers at the Gold Dome by a score of 190.425 to 182.900. The Ladies, who placed third in their opening meet of the season last weekend in Corvallis, Ore., will be at home next Saturday, Jan. 25 for a 6 p.m. meet against Cortland.
