John Mark Waniewski Named HCLC Athlete of the Week
Senior John Mark Waniewski (Bossier City, La.) was named the The Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) Offensive Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.

John Mark Waniewski (Bossier City, La.) Centenary College | Attack | Senior - Waniewski scored a team-high five goals in the Gents' 12-8 loss to Cornell College on Saturday in their home opener. The senior finished just two goals shy of his single-game career high of seven and recorded his fifth multi-goal performance in the last two season. He found the net five times in the 11 shots he took.
Notable Performances:
- Zach Stone (Elizabethtown, Ky.) Hanover College | Attack | Junior - Stone led the Panthers as part of their season-opener with Centre. The junior netted two goals on four shots with three ground balls.
