STUNT Earns Pair of Shutouts Over Saints On Monday
The Centenary College STUNT team recorded a pair of shutout wins against the Aquinas College Saints in a Monday night double face off inside the Sturrus Sports & Fitness Center.
Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Centenary College STUNT team recorded a pair of shutout wins against the Aquinas College Saints in a Monday night double face off inside the Sturrus Sports & Fitness Center.
The Ladies blanked the Saints 12-0 in both games to continue their recent string of success.
"The team had a wonderful set of performances tonight." said Centenary head coach Kaylee King.
"I was so impressed with the material they put on the floor and the continued improvements they continue to make."
The Ladies continued their impressive play on their lengthy road trip in the Midwest, one that is taking them to four different states over 10 days and featuring 12 games. Centenary tallied its first win of the season on Saturday, 12-2 against the University of Olivet in a 16-round game and then edged sixth-ranked Heidelberg University 8-6 in the Saint Mary's Valentine Classic in South Bend, Ind.
The power players of both games on Monday against the Saints were freshman KaNeya Hatcher-Davis (Forrest City, Ark.), junior Leah Dawson (Shreveport, La.), and sophomore Trihnity Campbell (Abbeville, La.),
Centenary is headed to Hiram, Ohio on Thursday for a two-game set versus Hiram College and a familiar face - Muskingum University.
