Ladies Golf To Play In Lady Crusader Spring Invitational
The Centenary women's golf team will participate in the Lady Crusader Spring Invitational hosted by the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday and Sunday at Stonetree Golf Club.
Killeen, Texas - The Centenary women's golf team will participate in the Lady Crusader Spring Invitational hosted by the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday and Sunday at Stonetree Golf Club.
The tournament field includes the Ladies along with host Mary Hardin-Baylor, and the University of Dallas, Hardin Simmons, LeTourneau, and Trinity.
The Ladies quickly return to action after finishing sixth in their annual home tournament on Tuesday, the Hal Sutton Invitational at the Golf Club at Stonebridge in Bossier City. Centenary shot a 265-over par 841 for the tournament including a 132-over par 420 in Tuesday's final round.
Senior Shannon Orlopp (Rogers, Ark.) posted the Ladies' best round of the day as she shot a 10-over par 82 and finished 19th for the tournament. Junior Abigail Hayes (Plano, Texas) shot a 13-over par 85 on Tuesday and tied for 11th overall. Freshman Madison Wing (Shreveport) and junior Lindsay Strohm (McKinney, Texas) finished 32nd and 33rd respectively.

1 Hayes: 9:32 a.m.
2 Orlopp 9:24 a.m.
3 Wing 9:16 a.m.
4 Strohm 9:08 a.m.
The Ladies continue their busy schedule as they will compete in the Linda Lowery Invitational in Lakeway, Texas on March 29-30.
