The Centenary volleyball team will face the St. Thomas Celts on Saturday in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match set for 3 p.m. at the Jerabeck Center. The Ladies (5-11, 3-2 SCAC) dropped a non-conference match to the East Texas Baptist University Tigers, 3-0, on Tuesday in the Gold Dome, snapping their two-game winning streak, but are 4-4 in its last eight matches.
The Centenary volleyball team dropped a non-conference match to the East Texas Baptist University Tigers, 3-0, on Tuesday in the Gold Dome. The Ladies (5-11) had their two-game winning streak snapped, losing 25-18, 25-23, 25-17 and falling to ETBU for the third time this season. The Tigers improved to 9-5 on the season. The Ladies are 4-4 in their last eight matches, having played the last five at home after being on the road the majority of the season.

The Ladies (5-10 overall) are fresh off a pair of wins in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Group A Divisional hosted by the Ladies this past weekend.
The Centenary volleyball team defeated the Schreiner Mountaineers in a five-set thriller on Saturday afternoon in the Gold Dome on day two of the SCAC Group A Divisional Tournament. The Ladies took sets one and three by counts of 25-18 and 25-21 and clinched the match in set five by a score of 15-11. Schreiner claimed sets two and four (25-20 and 25-22).

The action begins on Friday at 1 p.m. with a pair of matches featuring Southwestern (6-4) versus Schreiner (3-6) in the Gold Dome and Dallas (6-6, 1-0 SCAC) versus Coloroado College (9-2) in the Fitness Center.
The Centenary volleyball team dropped a non-conference match on Tuesday evening to the LeTourneau YellowJackets, 3-0, at the Solheim Arena in Longview. The YellowJackets, playing in their home opener, won the first set, 25-19, and then went on a mini run halfway through set two to break a 15-15 tie and win the set, 25-20. LeTourneau won the third set by the same score of 25-20 to sweep the Ladies.
The Centenary volleyball team edged the St. Thomas Celts, 3-2, in a five-set thriller on Saturday evening inside a spirited and loud Gold Dome in the Ladies' home opener. The Ladies won their second consecutive match and improved to 3-7 on the season while the Celts fall to 2-5. First-year head coach Ashley McDonough earned her first home victory as the Ladies finally played in front of their Maroon and White supporters after the first nine matches of the season were on the road.
The Centenary volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on Friday in the 12th Annual Cal Lu Fornia Invitational, hosted by Cal Lutheran in the greater Los Angeles area. The Ladies (1-6) will play two matches on Saturday, as the Ladies face Linfield at 1 p.m. central time (11 a.m. local time) and then play Occidental at 3:30 p.m. central time (1:30 p.m. local time).
The Centenary volleyball team fell by a score of 3-0 on Tuesday evening to the host East Texas Baptist Tigers inside the Ornelas Gymnasium to fall to 1-4 overall on the young season. ETBU remained a perfect 5-0 on the season as tjhe two teams squared off for the second time in five days. The Ladies and ETBU met this past weekend in the Austin College Invite in Sherman, Texas, as the Tigers won the match by a score of 3-1. ETBU will come to Shreveport for a match on Sept. 24 at the Gold Dome for the third and final regular season meeting between the two.
