Prior to Centenary: Played both volleyball for head coach Alyssa Gerbich and soccer for head coach Vickie Manies at Cypress Springs High School... For volleyball, named Second Team All-District in 2016 and Honorable Mention All-District in 2015... Finished 11th in the district for digs in 2014... Named Team MVP in 2016, Most Improved Athlete in 2013 and 2014, and Most Coachable in 2013... One of 50 athletes selected in Texas to compete in an Under Armor event, which was run by college coaches... In volleyball, was named Academic All-District from 2013-2016... News mentions
The Centenary volleyball team split a pair of matches in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Cross Divisional #2 hosted by Austin College at the Richardson Center and the Hughley Gymnasium. The Ladies (11-23, 7-11 SCAC) took care of Johnson and Wales, 3-1, in their first match of the day in the Richardson Center as they easily won the first set 25-14, lost set two by a score of 25-22, and then won sets three and four by identical scores of 25-20 to clinch the match.
The Centenary volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on Saturday to Texas Lutheran and Trinity in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Cross Divisional #2 hosted by Austin College. The Ladies (10-22, 6-10 SCAC) will wrap up the weekend with two more matches on Sunday as the Maroon and White face Johnson and Wales at 2 p.m. and host Austin College at 6 p.m. Centenary lost both matches on Saturday 3-0.
The Centenary volleyball team lost a five-set match to the Grambling State Lady Tigers on Tuesday evening at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center. The Ladies (10-20) lost to the Lady Tigers for the second time this season in five sets after falling, 3-2, at home back on Oct. 3. Grambling improved to 7-17 with the win. Centenary took a 1-0 lead in the match by taking set one, 24-16 and then Grambling edged the Ladies, 24-23 in set two. The Ladies claimed set three, 25-21, and then Grambling won a close set four, 27-25. The Lady Tigers then clinched the match with a 15-13 score in set five.
The Centenary volleyball team will face the Grambling Lady Tigers in a non-conference match set for 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center. The Ladies (9-17, 5-6 SCAC) will play again this evening against Colorado College at 5 p.m. The event, hosted by the University of Dallas, is a two-day event and the Maroon and White will face Schreiner and Dallas on Saturday at Noon and 6 p.m. respectively.

The Centenary volleyball team dropped a non-conference nail biter to the Grambling Lady Tigers in five sets on Thursday evening inside the Gold Dome. The Ladies fell to 6-13 overall while Grambling improved to 7-11. The Ladies started the match out hot, taking the first two sets (25-18, 25-22) but then Grambling responded with a 25-21 victory in set three and won the fourth set, 25-18. After a 10-10 tie, the Lady Tigers went on a run to end the set and win, 15-10. The match was tied 27 times and the lead changed 10 times.

The Ladies (5-12) lost at St. Thomas, 3-1, on Saturday in Houston in their last action in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play. The Maroon and White is 3-3 in SCAC play this season. Centenary and Jarvis Christian will meet for the six-consecutive season with Centenary holding a 6-3 all-time mark against the Lady Bulldogs, including three-straight wins in the series.

The two teams split the season series as the ladies defeated the Celts back on Sept. 14 in a five-set thriller at home.
