RICHARDSON, Texas - After suffering its first American Southwest Conference series loss of the season, Centenary looks to rebound Friday night at 2 p.m. to begin a three-game conference baseball series against UT-Dallas.
Centenary (21-9, 14-6) dropped the first two games against No. 23 UT-Tyler before pounding 18 hits and plating 12 runs against the Patriots in the series finale. It was the first series the Gentsdropped since dropping two of three to No. 4 Trinity Feb. 14-15, who was the top team in Division III until losing two of three to Southwestern last weekend.
UT-Dallas is 23-11 overall and 12-3 in ASC play, riding an eight-game winning streak into this weekend's series, which wraps up with a noon doubleheader Saturday.
