SHREVEPORT, La. - The Centenary baseball team recently helped out with the "6 hours of caring," hosted by NBC Six News and the Red Cross of North Louisiana. The event raised $5,000.
"Anytime you can help people in need we want to be a part of that," said head coach Mike Diaz. "Our players and coaches were excited to help out with this fundraiser the moment we heard about it. With 13 players hailing from the Houston area, Harvey has made a personal impact on our team. I'm really proud of the response of our players and I know it bodes well for the future of our program and Centenary college that we have such high character guys here."
