2024 Junior Season: Was one of the conference’s top quarterbacks as the multi-dimensional junior finished fourth in the SCAC passing yards and seventh in rushing yards and scored 14 total touchdowns – seven on the ground and seven through the air … Finished third in the conference in scoring (38 points), fourth in the league in total offense (1300 total yards and 130.0 YPG), and sixth in the conference in passing efficiency (122.2) … Completed 99 of 159 passes (62.3 %) for 1,002 yards … Averaged 100.2 passing yards per game with a long pass of 83 … Rushed 78 times for 310 yards as he averaged 31.0 yards per game, 4.0 yards per rush, and had a long run of 41 yards … Named the SCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 7 after an impressive all-around performance for the Gents in their 35-14 home win over Lyon College in conference play … Smith was Centenary's leading rusher (12 attempts for 72 yards) and passer (10-for-14 for 219 yards and 4 touchdowns) as he averaged six yards per carry on the ground with a long rush of 19 and through the air he did not throw an interception and connected with sophomore wide receiver Byron Stewart on an 83-yard touchdown - the Gents' longest play of the season … Earned the weekly honor for a second time on Oct. 28 after he had a stellar offensive performance in the Gents’ 41-21 Homecoming win over Austin College as he rolled up 238 yards of total offense - 149 passing and 89 rushing and had four rushing touchdowns … He completed 19-of-28 passes and carried the ball 16 times for an average of 5.6 yards and a long of 37 … Smith scored on runs of 3, 1, 8, and 7 yards and scored on a 2-point conversion after his final TD … Threw for a season-high 310 yards in a 28-21 win at Lyon College on Oct. 19 as he completed 29-41 passes and tossed a TD with 15 seconds remaining in the game to break a tie and clinch an exciting comeback win for the Gents …. Threw for 100 or more yards four times during the season and had one 100-yard rushing game with 135 yards on 10 carries with two TD at Austin College on Sept. 21.
