This week started with a BANG! Senior Kendall Huff took one for the team and broke the rope! No more rope climbs for the Ladies. Thanks Huff! The week continued with lots of hard work in the classroom as the end of the week began Mardi Gras break! Even though the Ladies are on a bye weekend as well as break, we are still working harder than ever to prepare to head to Massachusetts this weekend. Lots of amazing skills happened this week. Shoutout to our bar stars Rose Deshler and Olivia Stratmann for making amazing progress on their release moves!
Another shoutout to Claire Flores, Rylie Molina, and Isabel Plaza for getting back into tumbling on floor. We're so excited to see them back! This week, the Ladies also had a surprise intrasquad on bars and beam. We killed the game with lots of great improvements and amazing routines. Leilani Johnson HIT her beam routine and Emma Lavelle performed a beautiful bar set with her clearhip added! To round out week, the team attended the Krewe of Highland and Gemini Parades! We had lots of fun catching beads, eating good food, and being together. I can confidently say the Ladies can't wait for next years' parade!
