The final round at the par 72, 6,600-yard course is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday and is hosted by LeTourneau University.
The Gents, playing in their second tournament of the spring season after finishing 10th in the Space City Classic last week, are joined this week by host LeTourneau along with Baldwin Wallace University, Central College (Iowa), East Texas Baptist University, Mississippi University for Women, Lakeland University, the University of Texas at Dallas, and Jacksonville College.
Centenary shot a 17-over par 593 (289-304) on Monday and is just five shots behind Schreiner and MUW who are tied for third place at 12-over 588. The host YellowJackets hold the team lead at 4-under par 572 to lead second-place UT-Dallas (+3 - 579) by seven shots.
Bennett sits at 6-under par 138 after consecutive rounds of 69 and is one shot ahead of UT Dallas' Parker McCurdy (-5 - 139) who shot 69-70 on Monday. Two golfers are tied for third place at 2-under par and four golfers are tied for fifth at even par.

Bennett is back at a very familiar course for the final time in his stellar career as he earned a runner-up finish at Pinecrest CC in 2023, finishing one shot shy of an individual title. Bennett tied for 32nd place last season as he plays the course for a third time this week.
Bennett now owns a trio of career wins, nine top-five finishes, and 12 top-10 finishes as he continues to add to his legacy as the top golfer in the division III era of the program. Bennett, the 2024 SCAC Individual Champion and Men's Golfer of the Year, tied for sixth, tied for second, and finished first in three tournaments this Fall and finished 17th last week in the Space City Classic. He won the individual title at the Crusader Cup on Oct. 29.
The Gents will host their annual home tournament, the Hal Sutton Invitational at The Golf Club at Stonebridge (March 17-18), and play in the West Regional Invitational at Berry Creek Country Club in Georgetown, Texas on March 31-April 1. The annual SCAC Championships return to Whitney, Texas and will be played at White Bluff Golf Resort April 13-15.
