SEGUIN, Texas - It is a crucial weekend in Southern Collegiate athletic play as the Gents (2-7-2, 1-5-1 SCAC) and Ladies (3-5-1, 2-3-1 SCAC) take on a pair of teams just above them in the standings in Texas Lutheran and Southwestern in Texas October 6 and 8.
After the first half of conference play, the Gents are tied with Texas Lutheran (2-7-2, 1-5-1 SCAC) for the sixth and final spot in the postseason conference Tournament. The Bulldogs won 3-1 in Shreveport, but have lost 4-of-5 contests. The Gents, meanwhile, are on a two-game winning streak.
