Jay Scott Named SCAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week
JAY SCOTT OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a sophomore from Slidell, La., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 9 through Sunday, March 15.

Scott won the long jump in a personal record distance (6.87m) in the Ouachita Invitational hosted Ouachita Baptist University on Saturday in Arkadelphia, Ark. Scott was also part of the Gents' team that ran a school record time of 42.12 in the 4 x 100 meter relay.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Xander Nabors of LeTourneau posted a long jump mark of 6.49 meters (21'3.5) to place fifth in that event and was ninth in the javelin at 47.61 meters (156'2) at the McNeese-hosted Cowboy Relays.
