Jay Scott Named To CSC Academic All-District® Men’s Track & Field Team
Sophomore Jay Scott (Slidell, La.) was named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Cross Country/Track & Field Team by the College Sports Communicators, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Greenwood, Ind. - Sophomore Jay Scott (Slidell, La.) was named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Cross Country/Track & Field Team by the College Sports Communicators, the organization announced on Tuesday.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes cross country/track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
Scott is majoring in Philosophy and Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies and is also a member of the football team and was named to the CSC All-District® Football Team in January. Scott was also announced as a member of the SCAC Spring Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll on Monday.
