Gents Complete Season At SCAC Championship
The Centenary men's cross country team finished 11th in the 2025 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday at Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Farm and Ranch.
Prairie View, Texas - The Centenary men's cross country team finished 11th in the 2025 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday at Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Farm and Ranch.
The event, featuring an 8k race, was hosted by The University of St. Thomas and run on the campus of Prairie View A&M. Colorado College won its second-consecutive title. The Tigers' Will Shuflit (24.50.40) was the individual champion.

Freshman Zack Wroten (Benton, La.) had the Gents' top finish as he ran a time of 30.54.30 to finish 88th, freshman Ian Hunter (Princeton, Texas) finished in 92nd place (32.28.30), and sophomore Phillip Hughes (Bossier City, La.) finished 98th (34.48.60).
Sophomore Evan Halbert (Pearl River, La.) finished 103rd (38.01.0), sophomore Clayton Hancock (Buna, Texas) finished 105th (38.40.5), and freshman Sawyer Mathews (DeRidder, La.) was 108th (43:11.20).
