Ladies Split Doubleheader With McMurry
The Centenary softball team split a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader with the McMurry University War Hawks on Friday evening, falling 10-7 in eight innings in game one and responding with an 11-3 run-rule victory in five innings in game two at the Centenary Softball Complex.

Shreveport – The Centenary softball team split a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader with the McMurry University War Hawks on Friday evening, falling 10-7 in eight innings in game one and responding with an 11-3 run-rule victory in five innings in game two at the Centenary Softball Complex.
The series between the Ladies (17-15, 12-10 SCAC) and War Hawks (12-13, 11-11 SCAC) will conclude on Saturday at Noon. The Ladies' senior class will be honored following Saturday's game.

Centenary is currently fifth in the conference standings, one game ahead of McMurry and Southwestern. The top six teams in the standings at the conclusion of the regular season qualify for the SCAC Tournament.
The 2025 SCAC Softball Tournament, a double-elimination event, will be held May 2-4 on the campus of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. The Ladies have made eight-consecutive SCAC Tournament appearances.
