Shreveport - Freshman Gabrielle Malagarie (Lafayette, La.) highlighted the 2025 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships last weekend as she recorded a runner-up finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.52m to earn All-SCAC honors in the event in Seguin, Texas.
The rookie earned the Ladies' best finish in program history in the conference championships as she ended her impressive debut season on a high note. Malagarie's runner-up helped the Ladies finish eighth for the weekend with eight total points.
The three-day event, hosted by SCAC member Texas Lutheran University, featured the Ladies and Gents along with the host Bulldogs, Concordia University, Colorado College, the University of Dallas, LeTourneau University, McMurry University, University of the Ozarks, Schreiner University, Southwestern University, the University of St. Thomas, and Trinity University.
