SHREVEPORT-Former Centenary Gents southpaw and 2010 graduate, Dakota Robinson, was named to Minor League Baseball's Midwest League All-Star Team, announced Friday evening.
Robinson, a current member of the Cedar Rapids Kernels, a class-A minor league affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and a member of the Midwest League, will represent the Western Division in the Midseason Classic on June 21 at Quad Cities' Modern Wooden Park.
As a 6'3" left-handed reliever, Robinson is 2-0 on the season with a 3.14 ERA in 17 appearances. The Airline High School graduate also has recorded six saves to pace the Kernels in just 28.2 innings pitched.
