2024 Sophomore Season: Had a stellar season for the Gents as he was one of the country’s top defensive players and was named to the D3football.com All-Region Team … Named to the 2024 All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Team, earning First-team honors at defensive tackle … Named to the D3football.com Team of the Week following an outstanding performance in the Gents' 36-17 victory at Austin College on Sept. 21 … Lemons, also named the SCAC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 20, had a stellar performance as he recorded a team-leading eight total tackles and had a team-best two sacks with a team-high two tackles for loss … Lemons also forced a fumble to lead a Gents' defense that recorded four sacks, had six tackles for loss, and forced four fumbles, recovering three … For the season, he played in all 10 games and finished third on the team in total tackles (46) with 24 solo tackles (seventh on team) and 22 assisted stops … Second on the team in tackles for loss (7.5) and tied for second in sacks (three) … Had a team-best two forced fumbles (tied for first in SCAC) and ranked 15th in the conference in tackles, tied for second in sacks, and tied for 12th in TFL … Season-high in tackles in a game was eight on Sept. 21 at Austin College, had seven in the Gents’ season finale at McMurry on Nov. 16, six versus Lyon on Oct. 5, and five twice – at Texas Lutheran on Sept. 14 and at Lyon on Oct. 19 … Season-high in solo tackles was five at McMurry on Nov. 16 ….
