Ladies Back In Action Monday At Crusader Invitational
The Centenary women's golf team will play in the Crusader Invitational on Monday and Tuesday hosted by the University of Dallas at the WinStar Golf Club in Thackerville, Okla.
Thackerville, Okla. - The Centenary women's golf team will play in the Crusader Invitational on Monday and Tuesday hosted by the University of Dallas at the WinStar Golf Club in Thackerville, Okla.
The Ladies will be joined by the host Crusaders, Concordia (TX), ETBU, Hardin-Simmons, LeTourneau University, Our Lady of the Lake, Schreiner, Southwestern, Texas Lutheran, and St. Thomas. The women's field will play a par 72, 65,837-yard layout. The teams will play 18 holes on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday.
Centenary is back in action for the first time since Oct. 4 when the Maroon and White began the season in the Tempest Intercollegiate in Gladewater, Texas.
Junior Madison Wing (Bossier City, La.) and freshman Kaylee Roberts (Watonga, Okla.) both played as individuals there as they will do this week. Wing finished in 45th place at 61-over par 205 while Roberts place 48th at + 107 – 251. Wing shot a final-round 31-over 103 after a 30-over 102 in the opening round. Roberts, who shot a 53-over 125 in round one, followed that with a 54-over 126in the final round.
Wing and Roberts will start on No. 10 on Monday with Wing teeing off at 10:54 a.m. and Roberts at 11:03 a.m.
