The Starting Line-Up
The #8 Centenary Gents (20-3, 6-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference) will put its program-best 13-game winning streak on the line when it welcomes the Dallas Crusaders (8-15, 2-4 SCAC) to Shehee Stadium for a three game series Saturday and Sunday, March 26-27. First pitch is scheduled at 1 p.m. both days, with a doubleheader scheduled on Saturday.
Shooting up the Polls
After another weekend where the Gents swept an SCAC opponent, Centenary rose in all three polls. The American Baseball Coaches Association/Collegiate News poll moved the Maroon and White up to eighth from 12th, while PerfectGame (The only poll to have Centenary ranked all season) moved the Gents up a spot to 10th. Note: These polls do not include Centenary's win at second-ranked UT Tyler on Tuesday. Video Recap via KTAL

More awards
The SCAC and D3Baseball.com are loving them some Gents baseball this season.
In the conference, a Centenary player has been named either Offensive Player or Pitcher of the Week in 6-of-7 weeks - including sweeping the awards three times. This week, senior Michael Schimpf was named Player of the Week for the third time this season.
The D3Baseball.com Team of the Week honor for Schimpf was the second this season and the fourth time this season a Maroon and White player was honored.
