Lacrosse Selected as "Team of the Week"
The Centenary lacrosse team has been selected as Centenary Athletics' "Team of the Week" after the Gents had a perfect weekend on the road with wins against the LaGrange College Panthers and the Huntingdon College Hawks.
Shreveport- The Centenary lacrosse team has been selected as Centenary Athletics' "Team of the Week" after the Gents had a perfect weekend on the road with wins against the LaGrange College Panthers and the Huntingdon College Hawks.
The Gents (2-1) began the weekend on Friday, Feb. 21 with a 13-10 win over the Panthers and capped it with a 17-9 win over the Hawks. Sophomore A Gibson Harvill (Bossier, City, La.) and freshman A Gamble Harvill (Bossier City, La.) each scored six goals, and senior M Jordan Cook (Bryant, Ark.) and sophomore M Ethan Hewett (Bossier City, La.) each scored five. Senior Dylan Miller (Shreveport, La.) went the distance in both games and made 31 saves.
Centenary will return to action at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa on March 5 and wrap up the weekend on March 7 at Beloit College.
