Kendall Sanders Celebrated As NCAA Woman of the Year Honoree
Former Centenary All-American gymnast Kendall Sanders (Spring Branch, Texas) was honored over the weekend at the NCAA Convention as one of the NCAA Woman of the Year national Top 30 honorees.
San Antonio - Former Centenary All-American gymnast Kendall Sanders (Spring Branch, Texas) was honored over the weekend at the NCAA Convention as one of the NCAA Woman of the Year national Top 30 honorees.
Sanders was selected for the prestigious award by the NCAA Committee on Women's Athletics. Rooted in Title IX, the NCAA Woman of the Year program has recognized graduating female student-athletes for excellence in academics, athletics, community service and leadership since its inception in 1991. Sanders, who majored in pre-med at Centenary, was previously named to the 2021-22 CoSIDA Academic All‐America® At‐Large Team, earning a spot on the first team, as well as the 2021‐22 Academic All‐District® Women's At‐Large Team.
