20 Centenary Student-Athletes Named To SCAC Winter Student-Athlete Academic Honor
The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2022-23 winter term and 308 student-athletes made the list.
SUWANEE, Ga. -- The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2022-23 winter term and 308 student-athletes made the list.
Since its inception in the fall of 1997, just over 33,200 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom.
Among the winter sports student-athletes receiving recognition, Colorado College led the way with 79 honorees, followed by Southwestern University with 51 and Trinity University with 49.
The 308 winter honorees are the second-most for the conference since moving to a separate winter listing prior to the 2015-16 academic year.
To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.
