Centenary Ladies Gym Talk: September 29 Edition
Hi Ladies Fans! It’s Mallory Stephens again, and I’m so excited to be back with another Gym Talk! This time, I’m sharing all about my very first team retreat, an experience that truly brought us together and set the tone for an amazing season ahead!

It's Mallory Stephens again, and I'm so excited to be back with another Gym Talk! This time, I'm sharing all about my very first team retreat, an experience that truly brought us together and set the tone for an amazing season ahead!
The fun actually started the night before we left, when we had a team dinner that doubled as a murder mystery party. Acting out our characters, laughing together, and seeing everyone get into their roles was such a blast. It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend.
The next morning, we headed out to the retreat, and as soon as we arrived the bonding began. We played a card game full of silly and personal questions that helped us learn more about each other. After that came one of my favorite parts of the day: we changed into swimsuits and headed out to the bayou! We kayaked, laid out in the sun, took photos, line-danced, made TikToks, and just enjoyed talking and making memories in such a beautiful setting.
Throughout the day we did reflective activities, breaking into small groups to talk about what matters most to us as a team and what we need to focus on to reach our goals. We came back together as a whole group to share our ideas, which really showed how much we all care about moving forward as one unified team! After lunch we had a little free time to explore and keep connecting before dinner.
Dinner that evening was full of belly laughs and meaningful moments. We each shared something we love about ourselves, something we're proud of, and a funny story, and I don't think I've laughed that hard in a long time! Afterward, we decorated coasters, made friendship bracelets, wrote notes to our future selves, and even presented a TikTok dance to the team. Homemade sweet treats made the night even better, and we ended the day curled up watching The Princess and the Frog.
The next morning, we woke up to an amazing breakfast and wrapped up the weekend by brainstorming our team motto for the year. It was such a joyful and inspiring trip, filled with new friendships, deep conversations, and memories I know we'll carry with us all season long.
