The Gents (2-0) and Owls (0-0) last met in the finale of the 2022 season in North Carolina as Centenary recorded a 17-3 win. Saturday's game marks the season opener for the Owls and is the first road game of the season for the Gents.

The 27 goals in the season opener against LaGrange tied the program record for goals in a game

Freshman FO Gavin Ferrington (Bossier City, La.) recorded a program-best 95 % Faceoff Winning Percentage in the win over Hendrix and is 39/42 for the season for a superb 93 %.
