Crowder Leads Ladies To Fourth-Place Finish On Tuesday
The Centenary women's golf team shot a 152-over par 728 to finish in fourth place on Tuesday in the 2025 Scots Fall Invitational Presented by Bank of Cave City and hosted by Lyon College at The Course at Eagle Mountain.

The Ladies shot a 67-over 355 in Tuesday's final round which was preceded by an 85-over par 373 on Monday in round one. Centenary was joined for the two-day event by the host Scots along with Hendrix College, Mississippi University for Women, Texas Lutheran University, and Williams Baptist University.
Mississippi University for Women (MUW) claimed the team title after shooting a 97-over par 673 (346-327) to finish 18 shots ahead of Hendrix (+125 – 701). Texas Lutheran finished third (+145 – 721), Williams Baptist finished fifth behind the Ladies after shooting a 163-over par 739 and the host Scots finished in sixth place at +260 (836).
Amber Alsup of Hendrix shot a final round 9-over par 81 to claim the individual title by one shot over MUW's Ashley Estabrook. TLU's Belle Asbury, the day one individual leader, finished fourth, and Addiline Campbell of MUW placed third.
Sophomore Haylee Crowder (Haughton, La.) led the way for the Ladies as she earned a seventh-place finish after shooting a 28-over par 172 following rounds of 89-83. Crowder and all four of her teammates shot lower scores in Tuesday's final round than they did in the opening round on Monday. The top-10 finish was Crowder's first of her young career as she now has finished in the top 20 six times in eight-career tournaments.
Junior Mya Thompson (South Jordan, Utah) finished 17th after shooting a 38-over par 182 (92-90) and freshman Gracie Evans (Lake Charles, La.) and junior Jordyn Templeton (Columbus, Texas) finished in a tie for 18th place at 43-over 187. Evans shot rounds of 95-92 and Templeton shot a 97 on Monday and followed that with a 90 on Tuesday. Sophomore Amber Shaw (Hughes Springs, Texas) finished 21st after shooting a 45-over 189 (97-92).
The Ladies are back in action in the SCAC Fall Preview Oct. 13-14 at Hawk's Creek Golf Club in Westworth Village, Texas.
