The Centenary volleyball team was swept in a pair of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference matches on Saturday, falling to Colorado College and the University of St. Thomas inside Solheim Arena.

Longview, Texas – The Centenary volleyball team was swept in a pair of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference matches on Saturday, falling to Colorado College and the University of St. Thomas inside Solheim Arena.
The Ladies (2-18, 1-11 SCAC) have lost 11 matches in a row and are 0-9 on the road this season. The Tigers improved to 15-7 and 7-4 in league play while the Celts upped their record to 19-3 and 9-1 in SCAC play.

The Tigers took the first set 25-13, set two 25-12, and closed out the sweep with a 25-13 decision in set three.
Centenary finished with 25 digs, 16 kills, 14 assists, and five service aces while Colorado College recorded 44 digs, 36 kills, 33 assists, nine aces, and two solo blocks.

The Celts breezed past the Ladies (25-9, 25-12, 25-9) to record the sweep.
Centenary tallied 28 digs, 15 kills, 14 assists, and four aces while St. Thomas finished with 48 digs, 34 kills, 33 assists, and 11 aces.
