Ladies Swept By Nationally-Ranked Tigers On Tuesday
The Centenary volleyball team was swept by the nationally-ranked East Texas Baptist University Tigers on Tuesday evening inside Ornelas Gymnasium.
Marshall, Texas – The Centenary volleyball team was swept by the nationally-ranked East Texas Baptist University Tigers on Tuesday evening inside Ornelas Gymnasium.
ETBU won the first set, 25-15, took set two 25-11, and closed out the match in set three, 25-8.
The Ladies (2-13) are now 0-7 on the road this season and lost for the sixth time in a row overall while the Tigers, ranked #2 in the latest AVCA/TARAFLEX Division III WVB Poll, remained unbeaten this season at 21-0 overall and are now 7-0 at home.
Centenary finished with 23 digs, 14 kills, 11 assists, one service ace, and one solo block while the Tigers had 40 digs, 39 kills, 37 assists, 10 aces, and three solo blocks.

Centenary returns to conference play this weekend as they hit the road to face the University of the Ozarks (Friday – 5 PM) and Hendrix College (Saturday – 2 PM).
