Gents Tame Mustangs in Dallas
DALLAS (AP) -- Tyrone Hamilton scored 23 points and Nick Stallings added 20 to help Centenary defeat SMU 93-76 Saturday night.
Centenary (3-1) shot 61 percent from the floor and hit 12 3-pointers
Jon Killen scored 22 points and Bamba Fall added 18 for SMU (0-3).
The Gents connected on eight 3-pointers in the opening half as they took a 53-29 halftime lead.
Hamilton hit five 3s, and Stallings was 8-of-8 from the floor. Lance Hill scored 15 and Anthony Gatlin had 10.
SMU's Mike Walker and Alex Malone each dropped in 10 points.
