Eleven Ladies Named 2024-25 Easton/NFCA Division III All-America Scholar Athletes
The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) released the 2024-25 Easton/NFCA Division III All-America Scholar Athletes Wednesday afternoon, and 88 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) student-athletes from seven institutions were recognized.

A remarkable 9,199 collegiate student-athletes captured Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2024-25 academic year. The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's seven membership categories (NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, Junior College and High School - both weighted and unweighted).
The 88 SCAC athletes recognized are the most in softball league history. NCAA Division III led the way with 2,565 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2024-25. while Division III followed with 2,285. NCAA Division I followed with 2,544 and NCAA Division II with 2,179.
Additionally, three SCAC teams finished inside the top 115 in all NCAA Division III in team GPA and were recognized as an NFCA Top Team GPA honoree. In order to receive NFCA Top Team honors, the cumulative team GPA must meet the minimum standard of 3.00.
Southwestern University posted an SCAC best 3.537 team GPA, 78th best in all of Div. III, and placed 13 individual athletes on the All-America Scholar Athletes list. Honorees from Southwestern include; Tauryn Alexander, Hailey Arrington, Emery Bell, Darby Burke, Calle Collier, Jayden Ewart, Kaydee Garza, Macey Gilman, Jodi Glenn-Millhouse, Meghan McCarthy, Emily Nevarez, Erica Otto and Madison Vela.
Trinity University secured an impressive 3.462 team GPA, 105th best in all of Div. III, and also placed 13 individuals on the All-America Scholar list. It marks the third-consecutive year the Tigers have placed 10 or more athletes on the honor roll. The 13 Tigers honored include, Jordan Arce, Cameron Bishop, Sydney Boudreaux, Peyton Bowser, Zoe Frausto, Josephine Koelewyn, Megan Kriechbaum, Carsyn Lee, Abigail Miller, Heather Nugent, Lexi Walper, Sydney Watson and Ella Whitacre.
Centenary College rounded out the SCAC trio that finished inside the top 115 of NCAA Div. III team GPAs and secured NFCA Top Team honors with a 3.400 GPA, tied for 113th. The Ladies placed 11 individual athletes on the honor roll as well. Those athletes included; Kaitlyn Alello, Caila Baldwin, Janae Bland, River Boultinghouse, Emma Crow, Morgan Dawson, Libby Guidry, Viviana Rivero, Alexis Roach, Emma Shepherd and Laine Sullivan.
Concordia University (Texas) led the way with 15 individual student-athletes earning All-America Scholar honors. Honorees from Concordia include; Addison Lehew, Christian Everett, Hope Garcia, Isabella Vidal, Karlee Mathis, Krista Burg, Kylie Denero, Kylie Kirk, Kylie Pavlicek, Kylie Woods, Laney Shivers, Madeline Velasquez, Malarie Mican, Mayson Post and Spangle Caylee.
SCAC Regular Season Champions, Texas Lutheran University saw 13 individuals secure All-America Scholar accolades. The Bulldogs include, Kezia Alvear, Kristina Cromwell, Ainsley Davis, Carlee Feris, Riley Futrell, Serena Gonzalez, Katelyn Howard, Ainne Kay, Linzee Leal, Missy Moras, Grace Smith, Chelsey Swisher and Taylor Vannett.
University of the Ozarks was represented by 12 student-athletes earning NFCA Scholar All-America honors. The Eagles to earn honors included; Rylee Bevers, Amber Bryant, Allison Cowart, Morgan Haupt, Jordan Hodges, Lore-Ann Hughes, Mack Lucio, Saige Mahar, Grace Price, Talli Sadler, Kya Schmidt and Delaney Willoughby.
SCAC Tournament Champions, University of St. Thomas, rounded out the league's contingent of honorees as the Celts placed 11 student -athletes on the list. St. Thomas athletes included Rebecca Archibald, Chloe Bennett, Samantha Crumrin, Lindsey Gonzalez, Savana Henken, Taylor Hollins, Allison Hughes, Delayne Moreno, Avery Pinz, Jaelyn Simmons and Victoria Sossaman.
