Ladies Open SCAC Play With Pair Of Run-Rule Wins Over Schreiner
The Centenary softball team opened Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play with a pair of dominating run-rule victories over the Schreiner University Mountaineers in a doubleheader, winning game one 12-1 in five innings and 12-4 in six innings on Thursday at the Centenary Softball Complex.

Shreveport - The Centenary softball team opened Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play with a pair of dominating run-rule victories over the Schreiner University Mountaineers in a doubleheader, winning game one 12-1 in five innings and 12-4 in six innings on Thursday at the Centenary Softball Complex.
The series finale between the Ladies (2-2, 2-0 SCAC) and Mountaineers (2-6, 0-2 SCAC) is set for Friday at 3 PM. Centenary has won seven of the last eight games in the series.
